April Activities

3rd May

April Sunshine and not so many showers ..........

We had a couple of birthdays to celebrate with residents, which were enjoyed by all.  Another reason to enjoy a slice of cake.

Activities brought to Swarthmore this month comprised of lots of Easter topics such as decorating eggs and making of Easter cards for families.  An Easter service from St James Church was carried out within the home for residents that wanted to join.  Of course it wouldn't be Easter without the arrival of the Easter bunny.  Residents enjoyed lots of chocolate eggs partly donated items from our local Waitrose store.

Art classes were popular again this month with mosaic paintings, abstract art and dream catchers. Free hand drawing by one of our talented residents, of a local landmark. We are hoping to create an art gallery with all these wonderful pieces.  We have many talented residents and they are thoroughly enjoying spending their days being creative with Ann Marie.
